The Low Voltage Switch is perfect for single appliance applications. The neatly packaged unit monitors battery voltage opening when the voltage has dropped below 12.15V (this point is adjustable), shutting off power to the appliance or relay controlled by the switch. By disconnecting loads that are powered when the ignition key is off, before the battery is discharged low enough to prevent a vehicle from starting, the model 130512 saves the operator the expense and inconvenience of drained batteries.
To reduce false disconnects due to intermittent drops in battery voltage, there is a two-minute delay before the unit disconnects. The delay is reset if the voltage rises above the disconnect voltage.
The Low Voltage Switch is perfect to control circuits as well as relay controlled applications. Its simple installation and automatic operation makes it a hassle-free and very effective battery saving device.
