roadside service calls.
The Battery Guard 2000
Battery Guard system prevents “dead”
vehicle batteries by disconnecting them before they
completely run down and cannot start the engine. This
second generation system is available in both 100 AMP
and 200AMP versions.
Battery Guard 2000 consists of three major
components. Intellitec’s patented latching relay
Intellitec 100 Amp Relay 01-00335-000 (which
requires no power to maintain either open or closed
positions). The waterproof module, and the dash
mounted, LED, reset switch. The relay and potted
module are mounted near the battery, to disconnect it
from the vehicle’s electrical system. The reset switch is
mounted in a convenient location on the dash. The entire
system comes equipped with an interconnecting harness
to simplify the installation.
