The Model 500-12 was introduced a few years back as a 50 amp service distribution replacement for the Model 100 (Now Obsolete). Designed to minimize the cutout space required for a 50 amp panel, with improved capacity, the 500-12 includes 15 DC circuits.Design considerations were mainly reduce the cutout size required for a 50 amp panel. We did this, and added capacity! Designed for 50 amp 120VAC service applications the Model 500-12 also provides ample 12VDC distribution with the addition of a stand alone deckmount converter and or house battery. Standard configuration is with a brown decorative door.

The Parallax 50 Amp Distribution Panel 500-12 is a 50 Amp AC input service distribution panel manufactured by Parallax Power Supply. Designed for 50 Amp 120/240VAC service applications, the model 500-12 also provides 15 DC circuits. Panel is rated for max of 12 AC load circuits utilizing “twin pole” breakers. Constructed from rugged steel. Model 500-12 is listed as a Class CTL Panelboard type 1, which helps ensure safety and reliability to the highest industry standards. Steel constuction stands up to the rigors of RVing mile after mile, year after year.
